Dominique Jackson, LSW, has a background working with children, adolescents, and families. Dominique earned a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Colorado Denver and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. As a Colorado native, Dominique is committed to serving children and youth within the community. During Dominique's academic career she interned for Denver Public Schools and Children's Hospital Colorado.

Dominique has previously worked in the school district serving students and educators. In this work, Dominique provided education and development around trauma informed behavioral interventions as well as inclusive classroom practices. While working directly in a classroom setting, Dominique gained hands on experience supporting students with academic and behavioral health challenges. Dominique is trained in restorative practices and trauma informed care. Dominique has also worked as a Clinical Social Worker at Children's Hospital Colorado serving families and children with complex medical needs.

Dominique provides inclusive and safe environments for clients to engage in therapeutic settings. Dominique focuses on empowerment and equipping clients with the right tool box to navigate their journey. She strives to create a space where emotions and feelings can be processed without judgment or fear. Dominique collaborates with her clients and allows them to lead in their self exploration. She has expertise with anxiety, depression, complex family dynamics, family systems, self-esteem, self-harm, trauma and more. She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered, and play therapy techniques.
